Problem

The goal of the project was to create an album cover that captured the band’s 70s-inspired rock identity and visually conveyed the countercultural themes of their music, which often addresses contemporary governmental issues and unique viewpoints.

Solution

I used Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator to develop a psychedelic design that included bold, swirling patterns, vibrant colors, and fluid typography. This approach reflected the band’s retro sound and rebellious spirit, aligning with the themes of their music. Photoshop allowed for detailed image manipulation, InDesign provided layout precision, and Illustrator enabled the creation of intricate, flowing typography. Together, these tools helped create a visually striking album cover that was both conceptually rich and true to the band’s identity.
