The project involved creating a cohesive set of promotional materials posters, cards, badges, and a booklet to effectively promote an event. The objective was to apply design principles and create a visual hierarchy that would engage viewers and convey the event's message.
Using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, I applied our course lessons on layout and design. InDesign allowed precise layout control for each material, Photoshop enabled image editing, and Illustrator helped create clean, scalable graphics. I built a strong visual hierarchy by varying font sizes and strategically using color and text placement to guide the viewer's eye. This approach ensured that each element worked together to capture attention and communicate the message effectively. This experience not only enhanced my understanding of visual communication but was also creatively fulfilling and a valuable exercise in layout design.
